With the cool weather we have been having we are in a mood for a slow cook stew and wanted to share.

Ingredients

1 pound of ground turkey meat

2 sausages (any type of meat that you desire) – slice into small pieces

ó cup of chopped thyme

1 tablespoon of onion salt

2 tablespoons sea salt

1 tablespoon paprika

1 tablespoon of chili powder

ó cauliflower head (chopped into florets)

1 cup cherry tomatoes (cut into halves)

ó cup tarragon

1 purple onions (diced into small pieces)

1 jar of organic crushed tomatoes (we use Jovial)

1 carton of chicken bone stock (we use Pacific organic chicken bone stock)

1 stick of butter

Grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

 

Prep Time – 30 minutes

Cook Time – 2 hours

Total Time – 2.5 hours

 

Directions

-Using a small slice of butter – lightly season turkey meat and sausage with onion salt, tarragon, and sea salt – do not cook for more than 2 minutes. Goal is to slightly cook it and then allow it to slow

cook.

-Then add chicken bone stock, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, and crushed tomatoes to crockpot.

-In a pan – lightly sauté onions and cauliflower with thyme & paprika and butter for five minutes – then add to crockpot.

-Mix all ingredients.

-Allow to slow cook for 2 hours.

-Garnish – grated Parmesan cheese (each portion of stew)
