Turkey & Cheese Stuffed Avocados


  • 2 avocados – halved and pitted
  • 1/3 pound of ground turkey meat
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon Himalayan sea salt
  • 2 ounces soft cream cheese
  • 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
  • 1⁄4 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 6-8 fresh basil leaves

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Season turkey meat with ground sage, celery seed, and pinch of cayenne pepper
  • Season avocado with EVOO & sea salt
  • Slice cherry tomatoes into halves and season with EVOO & sea salt
  • Brown turkey meat till it is about 75% cooked
  • After you remove pit from the avocado, scoop out a little bit more of the center and set aside
  • In mixing bowl – combine turkey meat, sea salt, cream cheese, and cayenne pepper and evenly

    mix till mixture is creamy.

  • Scoop spoonfuls of creamy turkey mixture and place in the avocado halves.
  • Bake for 10 minutes
  • Add shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each avocado half and bake for an additional 2


  • Add fresh basil leaves to each avocado half
