Turkey & Cheese Stuffed Avocados
Ingredients
- 2 avocados – halved and pitted
- 1/3 pound of ground turkey meat
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground sage
- 1⁄4 teaspoon celery seed
- 1⁄2 teaspoon Himalayan sea salt
- 2 ounces soft cream cheese
- 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
- 1⁄4 cup cherry tomatoes
- 6-8 fresh basil leaves

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Season turkey meat with ground sage, celery seed, and pinch of cayenne pepper
- Season avocado with EVOO & sea salt
- Slice cherry tomatoes into halves and season with EVOO & sea salt
- Brown turkey meat till it is about 75% cooked
- After you remove pit from the avocado, scoop out a little bit more of the center and set aside
- In mixing bowl – combine turkey meat, sea salt, cream cheese, and cayenne pepper and evenly
mix till mixture is creamy.
- Scoop spoonfuls of creamy turkey mixture and place in the avocado halves.
- Bake for 10 minutes
- Add shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each avocado half and bake for an additional 2
minutes
- Add fresh basil leaves to each avocado half
