Deconstructed Bacon, Egg, & Cheese Biscuit


7 eggs

5 slices of bacon – we use turkey bacon – diced into small pieces

½ tablespoon of sea salt

½ tablespoon of cayenne pepper

½ tablespoon of thyme

½ cup of heavy cream

1 stick of butter

1 pound of shredded sharp cheddar cheese

¼ cup of gluten free flour

Prep Time 10 minutes

Cook Time 30 minutes

Total Time   40 minutes


Preheat oven to 375 degrees Lightly brown the turkey bacon slices using butter and sea salt and set aside Using a baking cup cake tray – add cupcake liners Fill each cup cake liner with teaspoon of turkey bacon slice and a pinch of shredded cheddar cheese Mix eggs, heavy cream, and flour – add sea salt, cayenne pepper, & thyme. Pour egg mixture (we pour ¼ cup) into to each individual cupcake liner – try to pour evenly but leave space – mixture will rise once it is cooked. Cook for 30 minute

Note: Dr. A really missed eating bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits and wanted to come up with a healthy version. This packs all the flavor with half the calories! Enjoy.
