Creamy Chive Cheese Cornbread 


4 large eggs

2 cups cornmeal

2 ounces cream cheese

1 tablespoon sea salt

2 cups gluten free all purpose flour

20 drops of Stevia

8 teaspoons baking powder

2.5 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup melted butter

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

half cup minced chives

Prep Time :10 minutes

Cook Time:25 minutes

Total Time  35 minutes


Preheat oven to 400 degrees In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients: cornmeal, flour, stevia, and baking powder In separate bowl, whisk wet ingredients: eggs, sea salt, heavy cream, cream cheese, & butter Stir dry ingredients into bowl with mixed wet ingredients until everything is moistened Gently add cheddar cheese and chives Pour into a greased 13 by 9 baking pain Bake for 25 minutes. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the cooked cornbread and allow to cool
